The world is made up of many different types of people. For some a trip to the local restaurant is pretty daring, whereas others would find that nothing less than bungee jumping would make their heart beat faster. So when it comes to online daring, what would be your idea of mad, bad or dangerous?
For some it has to stepping out of their comfort zone by meeting new people, either for friendship or more. They might join internet dating sites or chat forums. These can be a godsend to people who are very shy or for some reason are unable to meet people socially in other ways.
More and more people are also choosing to lay their life bare by blogging. A new wave of often quite intimate blogs are finding their way onto the internet – although my guess is that the authors do not want their identity to be revealed!
For others it just gets wackier – in the era of You Tube, they pull increasingly weird stunts to get themselves to a wider audience. They often involved slap stick and physical pain, but the funniest are the cleverly thought out ones.
From chat forums, to blogs through to posting your own videos online, this only illustrates just how different humans are and how widely our comfort zones differ.
